OAUG-IT Convergence Boot Camp Primer Workshops

OAUG and IT Convergence are teaming up to offer free training on Oracle Solutions. Learn the new features and functions of Oracle R12, Oracle 11g, OBIEE and other Oracle Solutions from a team of Oracle champions, veteran implementers and professional instructors.

Learn a few basics of Oracle Tutor and UPK and focus on how to combine the two tools to create documentation that: is compliant with SOX, ISO and other regulations; is user friendly; is reusable for training; and can be used as online help files. Sharpen your skills and enhance your documentation to empower your organization to become more efficient and self reliant. This presentation also details how to link business process and procedure material with eLearning simulations and vice versa. All audiences welcome.

Understand what it takes to upgrade or (re)implement in Oracle R12. We will discuss the R12 architecture and common essentials. We will share our experiences of rolling out R12 in the U.S., Latin America and around the globe. We will also discuss what it takes to plan your R12 project from architecture to configuration, user adoption, support and more. Learn from experts with year of experience and multiple R12 projects, who can share what worked well and what didn’t. All audiences welcome.

Oracle Fusion “Soup to Nuts”

Join the OAUG for a half-day seminar to all things Fusion. Oracle, OAUG, Quest, ODTUG, HEUG and IOUC have joined forces to bring you presentations and live demonstrations. You‘’ll hear from Oracle ACE Directors, ACEs and thought leaders who have walked the walk and talked the talk with Oracle Fusion Architecture. Innovation Hour

Stop by the OAUG Mini-Theater (#3025) on Tuesday for Innovation Hour. Come hear from the most innovative product and service providers as they provide 10-minute, high impact, creative commercials or “As Seen on TV” pitch about why their products and services are a must-have for Oracle users. After the one-hour session viewers will get a chance to rate the sessions.

Geo Networking Meetings

The OAUG Geo members reside within a defined geographic region and meet to facilitate networking among area applications users. Members discuss and share ideas concerning many diverse topics.

All Geo meetings will take place Tuesday, April 20 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
