Oracle Fusion “Soup to Nuts”

Wondering about the benefits of Fusion middleware? Struggling to figure out your roadmap to Fusion Applications? Asking what Fusion does for the database? Concerned about what skills you’ll need as a Fusion developer? If you’re pondering these types of questions, this workshop is for you!

Join the OAUG for a half-day seminar to all things Fusion. Oracle, OAUG, Quest, ODTUG, HEUG and IOUC have joined forces to bring you presentations and live demonstrations. You’ll hear from Oracle ACE Directors, ACEs and thought leaders who have walked the walk and talked the talk with Oracle Fusion Architecture. You’ll also hear directly from Oracle on their work with such Fusion-related topics as User Experience and Fusion Principles.

Attendance is free for anyone registered for COLLABORATE 10. So please join us on Sunday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Mandalay Bay D, Level 2, South Convention Center for this one-of-a-kind workshop.

OAUG 20^th Anniversary Celebration

Join the OAUG as we celebrate 20 years of being one of the technology industry’s most successful user groups. Over the past 20 years there are many milestones to acknowledge and much to commemorate. A contributing factor to the success of the OAUG throughout these years is the participation and dedication of our members. Join your fellow members, OAUG board members, and our great volunteers at this very special event as we take a trip down memory lane. During this time the Annual OAUG Meeting of the Members will take place in celebratory fashion to recognize the value of being a part of a global community of real Oracle users.

2010 Wellness Program

Exercise and healthy living doesn’t have to stop while you’re away from home. To assist, the OAUG provides a program for the health-conscious attendee by offering tips to eat right, exercise, stay healthy and get the most out of your conference experience. Join us Sunday for an informative kick off session, and then jump start each morning Monday through Wednesday for a workout session. The Wellness Program kick off session and morning workout are free to attendees. The Sunday wellness session is open to all attendees and does not require registration. Registration for the morning workout sessions is limited to the first thirty attendees for each day. Please contact speakerprograms@oaug.com to reserve your spot for the morning workout sessions. If you plan to participate in the morning workout sessions, please wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers. Bring your towel, water bottle and get ready to sweat!

The OAUG Wellness Program will be facilitated by Las Vegas-area trainer Danny-J. Danny-J, MS, CPT, is a lifestyle and weight management coach, personal trainer and owner of No Excuses, LLC in Las Vegas. S he enjoys fitness modeling and is a national level figure/bikini competitor. As an expert in the fitness industry she loves to share her knowledge of nutrition and exercise with others. She trained two of the Top 10 winners in 2009 Maxformation Challenge and is a contributing writer to Max Sports & Fitness and examiner.com.

The Women in Technology Panel is an environment ripe for learning more about the experiences of women working in the technology realm, an industry that has historically been male.
